Since the Log Cabin Republicans are gay, it doesn't surprise me that the McPalin team never mentions them.

I have a related question: How on earth can a gay person be a Republican? They have always fought tooth and nail against any civil rights legislation for any gay citizen.

Actually, I've always wondered how a person of color or a blue collar worker can be a Republican. That party has always been against anything that would benefit people of color or working people. It's been the party of the rich for decades.

There are 400 people in this country who share wealth equal to all that shared by the rest of us. Since Reagan's administration, so many have gotten so very rich, while the rest of us suckers see the results with job loss, stagnant wages, no heath care, etc.

The Republicans fought mightily against Social Security and Medicare too; did you all know that? The rich don't need either, of course.

We need tax cuts that help those earning under $100,000 a year, which is most of us! People like me (and most of you) will spend any extra money, and get it back into the economy.
Giving it to the rich doesn't help. They put it in the bank. Not much trickles down, does it.

The party of big tent is nothing more then side show. The only diversity in the Republican party is who more to the right and out touch with the 21st century. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity or Ann Coulter.
