I think that it will be interesting seeing a mormon go into the south... I live in the south and, to be frank, they don't know what mormons are and they don't want to know...

I could see that being a huge problem... both in the primaries (which I don't think he can get past) and the general election...

he's solid on most conservative "issues" it seems though, more so than Rudy or McCain... so who knows...

reading your question inspired me to answer this way. if a conservative can register to be a democrat, what is keeping conservatives from joining in mass ( i think you mean "en mass" by the way) so that they can slowly destroy the democratic party through infiltration? It would take a long time to do it, but it can be done. Are conservatives willing to do this if they hate democrats so much?
