J. C. Watts would be acceptable to me but even as a life long Republican I would vote for a strong constitution supporting third party candidate first. We need to repudiate the majority of Republicans in Congress, let alone the disastrous Democrat (read Communist) in the White House and the4 current leadership in Congress.
Congress is our problem and we need wholesale changes.

Both parties are very polarized buy yes there seem to be more moderate Democrats. The Blue Dog Coalition in the House of Representatives is supposed to consist of centrist to conservative Democrats. Some of them voted for the Health Care Bill and other bills on the House Democrat Leadership agenda but many did not. There aren't really any coalitions of moderate to liberal Republicans.
