First of all, not all Republicans are Christians or even religious for that matter. I'm a Republican agnostic atheist.

Second of all, like people have said, that's unfair group condemnation. Don't blame the wrongs of the individuals on the whole group.

Third, I think this was specifically designed just to attack the Republican party,not because the writer cares about the issues brought up. People from all parties do bad things, and the next time you're going to accuse one group, also provide a list of similar crimes committed be Democrats, Independents, or Libertarians. Thank you.

They have brilliant political consultants like Lee Atwater and Karl Rove, who frame issues so fiendishly, they can fool the American people into voting against their own best interests.

Although I am a liberal and a democrat, I want to help you to join the party of your choice, you have that right.

Basically, you need to register to vote. At that time, you will be asked to state your party affiliation, which in your case happens to be Republican. Call your county registrar of voters. They will help you register and also help you get in contact with your local republican party representatives.
