A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

Back then they didn't do everything in their power to completely destroy the person they are up against be it personally or professionally. They all had the same goal of keeping America safe and keeping it a free country. They may have had disagreements with some things but they never tried to censor the other person and they would have fought to allow them to have freedom of speech. Now you have it where if you aren't with them you are against them. It is either unpatriotic, anti-American, socialistic, communistic . . . whatever. Instead of having the goal of keeping the country safe and free. It seems it is all in it for the money and power.
