I'm a hardcore libertarian. You're right, a lot of people don't know what they are supporting. Youth tend to vote liberal democrat because they just don't know any better. World peace and health care for everyone sounds like a grand idea but they know little about how it's going to happen and its implications. The poor tend to vote lib because they're promised things out of it.

There's also a lot of repubs. out there who vote that way because of their pandering to the religious. People need to do more research on their candidates before voting based on emotions alone.
