Clayton Said:
How Much Will Republicans/ John Boehner's Economic Plan Add to the US Deficit? We Answered:
http://www.forbes.com/feeds/prnewswire/2…Its a return to Bush economics. Just what we need. Protection for corporations that ship jobs overseas and more tax cuts for the wealthy! Good looking out for the ever shrinking middle class, Boehner!
Edit: Isn't the cost of the war in Iraq part of the deficit?

Jackie Said:
Did you like the contrast in the speeches of Democrat Harry Reid and Republican John Boehner? We Answered:
I can never make it all the way through a Boehner speech... he cries too much.Matthew Said:
Did Republican John Boehner miss his moment to show unity to attend a fund raiser instead? We Answered:
He wanted to come, but his team could not figure out how to get his large supply of Kleenex to him without interrupting the flow of things.Mae Said:
Is it time for John Boehner House Republican Leader to retire to end the association with Bush/Cheney?We Answered:
Getting where he is in terms of senority and status as Minority leader, I doubt he'd even consider it. As of now, he is rolling out the red carpet to Madison avenue, and is coming with a campaign to repair the "brand" for the Republicans. "Change you deserve" is the working slogan. Now if the change turns out to be more losses for Republicans this fall, I can see him looking for the exit sign.Bernice Said:
Republican Congressman John Boehner wants to raise the retirement age to 70, do you agree with him?We Answered:
Boehner must have spent a little too much time in a tanning booth and cooked his brains. I think we should stop paying his salary and refuse to pay for his retirement, in fact he doesn't belong in Congress at all. We pay him $193,400 for trying to make life more difficult for us, and guess what his retirement age is."Members of Congress are not eligible for a pension until they reach the age of 50, but only if they've completed 20 years of service. Members are eligible at any age after completing 25 years of service or after they reach the age of 62. Please also note that Members of Congress have to serve at least 5 years to receive a pension.
The amount of a congress person's pension depends on the years of service and the average of the highest 3 years of his or her salary. By law, the starting amount of a Member's retirement annuity may not exceed 80% of his or her final salary."
Republicans are also trying to permanently lower the amount that doctors are paid to treat patients on Medicare and have succeeded, hopefully temporarily. Since doctors already get paid less for treating Medicare patients and now it has been cut even more, more of them will drop elderly patients. Doctors are paid even less to treat people on Medicaid, such as Parkinson's patients, like the man we saw on video who was being jeered at by tea partiers, so even more doctors already refuse to treat them. Talk about death panels.
People pay into Social Security and pay taxes all their working lives. Why should all the money they pay go to make Boehner and his ilk comfortable, while none of it is used for them. People like Boehner fool them into thinking they are begging for a handout if they ever expect to see any benefits from the taxes they pay, and then laugh all the way to the bank.
Jean Said:
Why is it that Republican John Boehner says " people have a right to know that Congress will respect their? We Answered:
They still don't. They just give their opinion, and say, "The people want..." As if the people would rather have tax cuts for the rich than unemployment benefits. As if people without jobs give a rat's *** about the deficit. As if protecting Wall Street and Big Oil are really what's important to Americans.
