Any thoughts on the GOP breaking major campaign promises the same week they were sworn into the House majority? We Answered:
the gop is in the process of being fumigated, the conservatives are the ones that will take over the party. how about that owe bama....broke every promise he ever uttered and the lib dopes are still silent...Emma Said:
Are Dems just getting mad because Republicans are trying to fulfill campaign promises already? We Answered:
Rolling back the Heath Care law would probably increase federal budget deficits by a total of about $230 billion by 2021, according to a preliminary estimate released Thursday by the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO).so much for "pledges"
Tyler Said:
What can we do about false campaign ads/slogans ? ?We Answered:
We need to pass a new law in the Congress of the United States of America that says that candidates who seek to be elected to be President, Vice President, Senator, or Congressman, will be subject to recall by the voters for that elected office, if it can be clearly determined by a reasonable person, that they blatantly violated a promise made to the votes during their election campaign, without any imperative need or reasonable cause to do so.Rebecca Said:
Why did Bush and a Republican majority support the McCain–Feingold Act?We Answered:
Because they were under the mistaken opinion the Supreme Court would throw this clearly unconstitutional legislation on thre scrap heap where it belongs.Jeanette Said:
After there is a republican majority to block things in congress will Obama just spend 2011-2012 campaigning? We Answered:
I never actually thought of it that way but you may be right. Of course the counter to that argument is that he had 2 years with a filibuster proof majority and couldn't get anything done.Either way, I don't think Republicans will regain majority in 2010 but they will gain a good number of seats.
Sandra Said:
Is anyone else sick to death with republican hypocracy and corruption? We Answered:
Yes thanks for asking, I'm sick of it.Bill Said:
Are the Republican victories poetic justice? We Answered:
LOL yes I do find that most ironic. I find it even more ironic that Obama is reputed to have said this election was about his agenda. How much more ironic can that be that he claims he failed to "communicate" after people soundly slapped his agenda around, then kicked it out the door.
