I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Tambourine Man, and add that this is the same beyond-nutty gal who advocates chickens exchanged for medical care (running for the Senate to replace Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who left his wife's hospital bedside last December to get us insurance reforms). When given a chance to "revise and extend" her remark in a later radio interview, she REPEATED (as though this is actually "realistic") that chickens could be exchanged for medical care! A few days later she told her rally group that the "Second Amendment" would be the way to go if the election did not turn in her favor (advocating GUN VIOLENCE to counter an election loss). Given these utterances and Mr. Tambourine Man's accurate portrayal of her publicly stated stance on abortion even in cases of rape or incest, I would assume that the "sink or swim" utterance is in all likelihood something she would or did say---especially if you look at the right-wing response which demonizes Hurricane Katrina victims for relying on "government" for help!

It didn't take too long for Angle to melt right into the GOP beltway gang.

I'm sure she's not bright enough to put A and B together and realize she's relying on the Federal government, with is supposed lack of ability, for her own security.

Maybe the term moron would be more accurate.

What she is proposing would have left them with only half their money coming in for a pension. And of course there would be no coverage for her and her husband at all, unless she spent her own money for it.
She's OK with that for the rest of us, she has hers and she doesn't want the rest of us to have anything like it.
