The bottom line is that most people are fed up with what is happening in the world today and they voted with anger. Obama is our President now and as true Americans we must back him even if a person didn't vote for him they should support him now as he is our future President. To answer your question of what makes McCain better now? The answer is that he received more votes than the others in the Primaries. See in American when the people vote the majority rules. Its that simple. No CIA, can't blame Roswell or the inhabitants of the planet Zorn, it was the plain and simple American Voter. God Bless America.

The health care bill that was passed also very closely resembles the same one Romney pushed for in Massachusetts.
Repubs wanted tort reform, and got it. They wanted tax breaks, and got it.
And they still voted NO.

Perhaps they think it's unconstitutional because after what they and Bush did to the Constitution, they can no longer recognize it.

Or maybe they just want Obama to fail, at any and all costs, and to hell with the country and its people.
