I said this in another answer, and I think it is quite true. When you are born into a 10 Trillion dollar deficit (I know most of us here were born and there was a much smaller one, but bear with me) - it looks like there is free money for the taking and a lot of people want their piece of the pie. The politicians put earmarks on bills of law like its nothing, almost as though money grows on trees. Well, it doesn't. The main tenets of this coutry are that we are free, that we rebelled against taxation, that we defend freedom and our way of life, and that we work hard to provide a better future for our children than we ourselves had. That isn't socialist, that isn't capitalist, that is one thing and one thing only, and there is only one place it happens - HERE, in the US of A. It is called a Democratic Republic. And here we are, and from the looks of it, this country will die a violent death because people don't understand what the purpose of the Federal Government is. Go read the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Then and only then will you really understand what it means to be a citizen of this country and that JFK really was right.

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. JFK didn't think the government was supposed to solve all of our problems, only the ones individuals and the states couldn't handle.

Obama is the antithesis of what it means to be an American and he will only destroy our country.

These are the things people disagree about, and the ones who do not have a valid point proving the other side is wrong and can only spit out ad-hominem attacks - those are the enemy.

You obviously do get it....Obama, Hilliary, Bill, Pelosi, Reid, and all of the other minions are not liberals, they are self admitting Progressives. In anthropology, you would learn that we are ingrained to follow a "tribal" situation. That is, we are "pack" animals (like wolves). These divisions into groups are a modern expression of tribalism or pack formation.

It is the ultimate evolutionary expression of "us vs. them." It is (believe it or not) a survival trait left over from our days in the wilderness.
