What are your views on abortion, death penalty, euthanasia, gay marriage, stem cells and universal health care?We Answered:
Catholics believe that life is a sacred gift from God and needs to be treated with all human dignity from the moment of conception to the point of natural death.The Catholic Church is pro-life in the widest sense. This is often called a "Consistent Ethic of Life."
This pro-life stance stresses the highest regard for dignity of human life including that of:
+ All people in objecting to unjust war and nuclear arms.
+ The unborn in objecting to to abortion, in vitro fertilization, frozen embryos, embryonic stem cell research, and cloning
+ The elderly, sick and dying in objecting to assisted suicide and euthanasia
+ Prisoners in objecting to torture and the death penalty
+ The poor and minorities in supporting social justice issues like universal health care
For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 2270 and following: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt3s…

Republican Ronald Paul's Views On The Death Penalty & Gun Control...???We Answered:
Sure thing.http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Ron_Paul…
Pretty much pro-gun...he is pretty much a Libertarian after all, so he would be pro-gun...though on some issues like partial birth abortion he is against...(I actually agree with him on that)...the MSM is trying their best to destroy Paul because the guy has brutally honest and views everyone equal..unbelievable huh?
Check the same site for his views on the death penalty.

what is the republican view on the death penalty?We Answered:
They're all for it. They want to force women to have unwanted children by making abortion illegal. That way, the kids can be abused, neglected, have a lifetime of suffering then commit capital crimes so they can kill 'em!Ana Said:
What is Republican/ Democratic Party view on Same Sex Marriage/Gay Rights & on Death Penalty?We Answered:
Death penalty not mentioned by Democrats in 2008 platform. In 2004, the Party official refused to endorse the death penalty for the first time. The Party didn't take a stand against it either.http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0728…

In 2008 NH Dems narrowly voted against outright opposition to the death penalty.
The Republican Party and President Bush support a federal Constitutional amendment for victims of violent crime that would provide specific rights for victims protected under the U.S. Constitution. We support courts having the option to impose the death penalty in capital murder cases.

"Because our children's future is best preserved within the traditional understanding of marriage, we call for a constitutional amendment that fully protects marriage as a union of a man and a woman, so that judges cannot make other arrangements equivalent to it," the final draft of the platform says. The party also touts the Defense of Marriage Act, passed by a Republican Congress in 1996, affirming the right of states to deny marriage to same-sex couples. The platform also urges Massachusetts to reverse its policy of requiring religious organizations to provide adoption services to gay and lesbian couples. http://www.advocate.com/article.aspx?id=…
If you're looking for a committed, hard-hitting, strong-spined party platform on LGBT rights, you may want to hold off on thumbing through the 2008 Democratic Party platform. dnccplatform.jpgI obtained a draft of the DNC platform and searched for:
* gay
* lesbian
* bisexual
* transgender
...and came up with nothing. To be fair, if you do a search for discrimination, sexual orientation or gender identity, you get a few hits. http://www.bilerico.com/2008/08/2008_dem…
