Republican Views On Education

Democratic and Republican views on education in the U.S?We Answered:
I'm a republican:I believe our system is both great and wonderful but the same time disastrous.... I will explain why..
GOOD
#1 I believe our H.S education is very good, though many schools act different towards students I believe our knowledge after graduating is one of the top!
#2 We have the right to attend any type of educational program afterwards basically! Whether it is a tech school, hair school, becoming a teacher, etc. etc.
#3 We learn so many tasks and skills from further education, if we choose to listen up but yet go with our hearts also...
BAD
#1 Teacher's try to make students think that teachers are always right from all the facts laid out and if they don't agree with the book then they r wrong. How is this so, if you think of Galileo and all those people they went against what many believed to be proff and were later known to be right..... Science is not the explanation to everything and the students need to learn to study on their own and go with their own beliefs.....
#2
Wanting to take God out of the schools...... That causes so much argument.... if people want to use god in their schooling and use their beliefs to answer a ? they should be able to.... it is only their opinion... they r not forcing religion on anyone..... but at the same time if a person doesn't believe in God they shouldn't be shunned...
In history u learn of all the Aztecs gods, the egyptian gods, the romans gods, etc. etc. Why can people not mention their god then? It is all the same.... In years to come people will study what this countries belief was, how we did things, so why not let the students use their own idea's to answer ?s that people can not prove to be wrong anyways.... there is no proof of a GOD existing and there is no proof he doesn't.
So leave God in the schools!
#3 We should oppose giving kids condoms and birth control pills at school because it encourages teen sex and even preteen sex. I don't like the social agenda that the liberals are pushing with sex education. Parents can teach their own children bout hose things.... it would lower the teen pregnancy rate... so take that crap out of schools!
#4
People wanting everyone now to basically to have a colledge education in order to get a good job.... I know people who did not go to a college but know plenty about agriculture and such and they get paid less then some people who took the college classes who have never experienced it, and some that got the further education also are way lazy.... that is wrong.... people should be paid according to their skills not just the schooling they got.... very unfare in my opinion... no one forced them to get loans, so we can't use money invested into it as an excuse, the people who didn't get loans chose not to but may be an even better worker and help to the cause!!
#5
Why take recess and such out of the schools? Our school just did that.... our young children need that time to exercise.... schools can change the lunches and all that to help with the obesity problem but if they don't allow their students to get that extra exercise it does 0 good.... I believe recess, field trips, sport events, and just deciding for classes to go on walks r good!!! Whether in Elementry, middle school, h.s or even college get out of the classroom every once in a while and move around...
So that's some of my views bout it....
AND TEACHERS SHOULDN'T COMPLAIN THEY DON'T GET PAID THAT WELL!!!!! They got it easier than lots I know... holidays off, summer leave for some, a retirement plan, pretty darn good pay, and also most of them are the ones that their spouse don't have to work and they have the nicer homes round here.... give me a break!!!
And I also believe Teacher's should be paid on how well they teach and help their students!!! Job is to teach not have a degree... if they do not teach for the right purpose they should be removed!!!! I get tired of hearing crap like that fro mlazy teachers while the good marvelous one's there for the right reason don't complain!!!

Republican views on education?We Answered:
No, we don't see education as the responsibility of the government. Private education does a better job.We also don't see why liberals think something is made better if the government sticks a gun in one's face to do it properly...the essence of government is legitimized force.

what are the republican views on education? We Answered:
I commend all Americans who are trying to learn more about the candidates before the 2008 election. In my opinion, a uniformed voter is down right dangerous. I am supporting the Republican Ticket for their stance on Foreign Policy. I do not believe that the ticket will lead with Rudy, Mitt or Ron Paul and this is why….Strike Rudy - He is responsible for nixing the Line Item Veto, pro-abortion, he spends too much! Check his record!
Strike Mitt - He is trying to sell us on the fact that he is Ronald Reagan's Clone which is so not-true. Blames his MA record on him having to work in a Liberal State, He is a FRAUD and McCain called him on it in the 10/21/07 debate!
Strike Ron Paul – He is not savvy on Foreign Policy.

Do you think the religious / Christian right has taken control of the Republican Party in recent years? We Answered:
Yes. The real republicans have lost their party, just as the real Cub fans have been shouted down by the yuppies. The neo-con far right runs the joint and people better be careful because they are as American as burkas.Julia Said:
