Sadly, as long as both sides have their heels dug in and refuse to budge on the simplest things then we'll have the deadlock partisanship. A disaster may do it, but certainly an attack on our own soil or some external threat - real or existential. My best friend is a conservative, much to my chagrin. But as radical as his opinions seem, mine must too. We've known each other for 24 years, so history predates any disagreement. Perhaps if both parties come to a similar understanding we might have a chance. But as long as some use cross-hairs on maps to signify competitors and others cry "victim" whenever they can for political gain, the real victim will be the American people.

If Congress gets this bill, they will control 30% of the economy. Govt will ration Health Care. In the long run, we will have have Health First Aid. Under Govt, specialists will go somewhere else, because doctors will be on salary. What students would then study for a (Govt) salary job? Page 16 of the bill will stop private health care.

It's 2011, and the prospects should start unearthing themselves, much like the seventeen year locust. The Republicans will hit the trail first, since they represent the opposing party. Romney will probably wait for some sort of endorsement since he is the early favorite. Nothing like a little drama to add to the fray.

Since this run will be against an incumbent president, the field may not be as crowded as usual. Then again, 0bama's popularity is so low, this could encourage more wannabes than normal against a sitting president.

This time around, we can expect a challenge from the left against 0bama. This is highly unusual for the presidents party to challenge his presidency, but with the mess 0bama has before him, and with no significant improvement, it's likely that someone from the left will make the challenge a year from now.

It has been studied but the Republicans pulled the federal funding from the study before the results were published because of what they found. 85% of those in prison consider themselves conservatives and 75% are or were before they lost their right to vote, Republicans.
