Rebecca Said:

Is it possible for the Democrats to gain control in the Senate in states where Republicans now have power?

Yes it is possible, however it wont happen right now. Because people are sick and tiered of over controlling, big governments and that is what obama and most democrats want.

If Republicans gain control of House and Senate this November????

I believe so , the Republicans are really gaining steam , I say it's a 75 percent shot { if not more } they take over because people are becoming sick of the Democrats doing nothing for the average joe .

Ken Said:

If John McCain does become President then who would become Arizona's second senator?

We Answered:

It depends on the laws of the state. Some states require a special election, and in others, the governor can appoint anyone they wish upon approval of the state legislature.

Thelma Said:

How many Republicans are in the U.S. Senate -- according to "true conservatives"?

Not many. The minute a senator does anything they disagree with they throw him or her under the bus and start screaming RINO.

Jesse Said:

Does a takeover of the Senate by Republicans in 2012 seem inevitable?

We Answered:

I think the mood will still be conservative in 2 years. With 23 Democrat Senate seats up for grabs, it looks inevitable.

Conservatives may have more trouble reigning in wayward Republican moderates, if the lame duck session was any indicator.
