illegal immigration does increase the welfare load dramatically. largely because the massive influx of low skilled "cheap" labor displaces much of the existing low skilled labor that was already in the country legally. Many of those low skilled people aren't able to get work (or get paid a lot less than they would otherwise) because they have to compete with the illegal immigrants for those low skilled jobs.

There is no such thing as a "job American's won't do". Americans were doing them for a long time before the massive illegal invasion started.

Why not kick the illegals out of the country, then those low skilled legal residents that are currently collecting welfare can do those jobs. THEN we can cut welfare.

No matter how Republicans/Conservatives try to fight illegals, the Libs along with their Liberal judges block them.
We can't win in court, or at the polls, because the bleeding heart Left can't afford to lose their voting base.

I have no issues with cubans/mexicans/aliens/everything else who come and make contributions to society. As long as they don't expect handouts and live an honest life I don't care.

Call your politicians directly and ask them. This will be a good learning experience for you. You may also find out that a majority of the calls that you make you will not ever hear back from 75% of them.
Don't be discouraged because their still is that 25% that still cares.
I have had great success with our Governors office In California. He tries his best to have his staff get back to me or get involved.

Agreed. They demand a lot of things they didn't of Dubya. They expect our president to perform miracles and make water turn to wine. Plus, McCain is the Senator for AZ. Why didn't he do anything? ?
