Republicans would rather pull a political stunt than help the very people that they hurt when they got us into this economic crisis. They did take the remainder of the 4 billion, and this was not all for job creation but for projects like the VA, Education and aid to cities so there goes there other reason for not accepting it, they had earlier stated they would reject all the non-job creating money. The money to VA hospitals is great but is not creating jobs nor is most of the funds for education but they are badly needed. They are hypocrites who were not doing too well to begin with, after this they are never going to get the votes the remain the majority. A truly idiotic idea for the GOP and strategic blunder!

First off, every "Blue State" voter is not a Demoncrat and every "Red State" voter is not a Conservative.

The people who decide to abandon "Blue States" in this economy for a "Red State" are probably Conservatives who were only living in the "Blue State" for the job anyway.

Most Liberal voters are government (or other Union employees) or welfare rats, these people stay put for the most part.

Those States you listed went Blue because McCain was an awful candidate, they have moved significantly to the right since 2008 as evident by the 2010 election results.

The GOP will do very well if they can convince the people that they will not govern like Liberal Demoncrat's if they regain power. If they cannot convince America that they have returned to their Conservative roots they will fail again very quickly.

Not for one million dollars. If they would use that money for
