Republicans stand for lower taxes, socially conservative judges, the war in Iraq. I think the Democratic party has a wider range of views. I believe Hillary is a champion for the middle class and will help us to maintain out status. Obama is not getting middle class support because he intends to tax us further, so there is a wide rift between the 2 leading Democratic contenders. Hillary is also tougher on terror and those 2 reasons are why I support her and not Obama. I believe McCain will be better for the middle class than Obama.

The Democrats appear to be about raising taxes to implement programs that do little good. In other words, they seem to want to give hand outs all the time to people who don't want to work. These people receive these hand outs and figure, "Why should I work if it's being given to me?" That's how you end up with a Welfare State.

I'm not however, going to sit here and feed you a bunch of mean stuff about the democratic party. I do know it is a FACT, that they are the party that is responsible for Slavery. I believe every black person should know that, however, we don't. I admit, my husband, who is white, had to tell me. And no, he's not a republican, he's an independent.

Why don't you Google "Republican Abolisionist". You should be able to get a lot of information as to what happened way back when during slavery and the GOP.
