Which political party is more corrupt; the Democrats or the Republicans? We Answered:
i new to usa but everything i see and read show me democrats are sneaky. look at obama he say change change change and now no change he freinds with crook govener form illonois. big trouble for democroutsLillie Said:
Why do Republicans only nominate white, protestant men?We Answered:
Republicans only nominate White Anglo Saxon Protestant (WASP) men simply because that's the way it has always been.Even right now they are scratching their collective heads wondering how on God's green earth an African-American, a woman, a Mexican-American and a Mormon ever got into the fray.
There is some nut out there angry and depressed about it, thinking that America has somehow gone to the dogs. But the truth is America will be the better for it, because diversity should be what it is all about.
Bush has unwittedly made sure that we realize that this type of thinking should of left out the door with ol' Jim Crow.
Aaron Said:
Did the GOP change its mind about punishing early primary states at the Republican Convention? We Answered:
I don't know about NH, WY and SC but the RNC has definitely stripped FL and MI of half its delegates to the Republican convention. Perhaps the reason it is not reported is because this seems to be the appropriate way to handle it and the Dems should follow suit. Otherwise I think it is common knowledge and not up for disputeDavid Said:
why do people think just liberals are on welfare? We Answered:
The majority of Americans on welfare are rural caucasians. The vast majority of those are Republicans.
Katrina Said:
Do the Tea Party types realize that by trying to purge the GOP of Moderates they will end up losing even more!?We Answered:
No.The Tea Party is following in the footsteps of every other political organization in the country right now.
They have the "we're right, everyone else can go f**k themselves" attitude.
The republicans and democrats have been on this path for the past 40 years, and it is coming to a head now.
History tells us, that when civilizations fall, it is because the government became more polarized.
If our politicians don't start working together, and soon, America will follow Sumeria, Byzantium, Greece, Rome and countless other great civilizations into decline, and finally, demise.
The separate parties used to work together to come up with a solution that might not be perfect for either side, but tended to work, and keep the country stable.
Now, each side tries their hardest to screw the other side, and to hell with the public.
And, we as the electorate, are playing the game with them.
We need real change in government. A commitment to working together for the common good, and accepting our ideological differences, or the USA is gone. Not weakened, but gone. Split into several smaller countries, with foreign rule.
Stephanie Said:
Why do you think most educated people vote democrat? We Answered:
Educated people, for the most part, realize life is not so black and white, not so easy to put into a box with easy slogans, easy answers, nor are they prone to make statements such as "all people/religion/dems/repugs/ McCain/Obama/ Bush are..........." and they are more inclined to look at the issues, do the research, come to an educated conclusion without the benefit of smear radio and partisan commentary.I find most of those, not all, are liberal in their values, because they have been educated to think outside the box, instead of taking life's issues and placing them neatly in to racist/bigoted/partisan/fear mongering/smearing compartments.
The biggest anti Americans are not the people who believe the constant crap that is brought to those in the form of partisan facts, but rather the ones who are spewing it, making up the deceptions, the lies, twisting the facts to shove another 4-8 years of Bush down our throats.
Lets just hope, after the GOP smear machine gets into high gear (which is only beginning as they have 4 anti Obama books coming out in August) that the dems hit them back with hard facts, and the American people don't buy into the GOP crap.
