Alice Tea Party

Melissa Said:

Disney world mad hatter tea party with Alice?

We Answered:

There is a Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian hotel, but it is reserved for children aged 4-10. Here is the link to the information page on the allearsnet website.

If you don't fall into this age group, there is also a WONDERFUL character dining experience, also at the Grand Floridian, called 1900 Park Fare. Alice usually attends. Also likely to attend- Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Eeyore. Here is the link for the allearsnet reviews of this dining experience.

If you call ahead and tell them its your birthday, I think you can buy a cake, and the characters will bring over a signed birthday card for you.

Have a great birthday, and dont forget to go to guest relations to get your "It's my birthday" pin! You'll get special treats at all the parks. (My son got to skip the lines on a couple of rides, got free candy at some of the gift shops, cast members and even some characters stopped all day to wish him a happy birthday.)

Have a great time!

I'm having an Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter Tea Party & plan to do a 'who stole the tarts' game - any ideas?

We Answered:

Get a Murder Mystery Game. You can get them online for teenagers. The cost between $15-$30. There are games for 6-15 players & they each get a 'part' like in a play. There are also games for up to 100 players, but you can't get them in a box and each person doesn't get their own part. (Not quite as fun).

What are some good ideas for an alice in wonderland themed tea party?

We Answered:

How old are the people coming?
More grown up tea party, decorations from the "casino" section of PartyAmerica or some such, little cookies with "eat me" and "take one" iced on them, real or fake oysters for the walrus, a host dressed as a mad hatter, a hookah-inspired punch bowl, a croquette game in the back yard with all the pink flamingos you can beg or borrow put around, put an enormous caterpillar made out of painted butcher paper circles on a wall with some giant mushrooms to make guests look small, for smaller guests you can have face painting and make them a cheshire cat, doormouse or white rabbit, or paint hearts/spades/clubs on them.
Sounds fun!
