Why on earth would you do a theme like that and invite boys? They're not old enough to retire to the library for cigars and cognac while the girls do girl things.Why not plan activities that include all the guests instead of segregating everyone?

then do a prince and princess theme, 100 acre woods, Alice in Wonderland. There's no reason a tea party can't be gender neutral

Have chocolate biscotti's and tea...actual tea not iced tea or "air" tea. real hot tea. Also arrange the biscotti's so the look like a cone, big on the bottom one on the top! Also, wear fancy ( not suit and tie but fancy clothes. Tell her I said Happy Birthday also!Jason Said:

I think having optional dressing up is great! Maybe you could go to a local preschool and see if they would let you borrow some "dress up" clothes. I know that preschools always have some things like that for kids to dress up in. You could have some of those fancy top hats for boys or the hats with flowers for girls. Maybe some clip on ties for boys and the necklaces are great for the girls.Sounds like it will be fun! :)
