Hmm mm mm - - - to be blunt, needs a lot of work! You should scope out AJ Langguths ' 'Patriots; The Men Who Started the American Revolution' for a better way to say what you wish to say.
First up - -- -- as 'serious' as the Tea Party was, the Patriots acted 'in jest.' They dressed as 'Indians' not with the hope of causing the Brits to sh^t all over the Natives, but as a form of mockery - -- -- many of the British had referred to the Colonials as 'Savages,' thus Samuel Adams & friends dressed as 'Savages' as a joke, a jest. IT was also partially to hide their identity though everyone 'knew' who was involved and despite their hatred of the British there was no thought that the British would murder everyone in Town especially as there were many Loyalists in Boston and they certainly would not suffer!!

Your first part is 'o-k' but needs to be written clearer and it was not IRONY, it was simply a matter of two diferent perspectives, two different viewpoints and there is/was no irony in that. But yes as far as the Brits & Loyalist were concerned the Redcoats acted with restraint whereas the Colonials viewed the Redcoats as wanton murderers. As for Irony - - - the irony was that Colonial John Adams defended the Redcoats and in doing so scored a Victory for AMERICAN Liberty by making it clear that the Colonials respected Law & Order and due process of law.
