Decorate Tea Party

Joshua Said:

where to find a mushroom with a face to decorate on a tea party?

We Answered:

How do i decorate a Alicia and wonderland tea party?

We Answered:

That would be so much fun to go to!
You could perhaps lay a white tablecloth which has already been decorated with large red hearts all over...if you can't get one,try painting red hearts onto a long paper tablecloth that you can buy in the supermarket...or alternatively use fabric paints to paint red hearts onto a white fabric tablecloth or sheet. You can add spades, diamonds and clubs as well if you like...Maybe place vases of red roses on the table...scatter rose petals onto the cloth...perhaps add paper cups, plates and cutlery in red, black and/or white...although it would be ideal to have a white/black/red tea set if it is possible...maybe get some images of all of the characters enlarged to A3 size and stick onto the walls around the table...Add colourful alphabet letters strung onto fishing wire and suspended from the ceiling around the room...you can buy wooden ones in childrens toy shops or make them yourself if you have the time from coloured card in different sizes...you could also make teacup hats by cutting a circle for the saucer, placing a plastic flower pot upside down on top of it and then adding a paper handle to the side of the pot so that the cup appears to be upside down on the wearer's head...then paint the whole thing as you like..add thin elastic at either end of the 'saucer' so that it can be worn...you could take a bowler hat and add the label onto it as it appears in the illustrations of the Mad Hatter...lastly,why not ask everyone to dress up in fancy dress to get the total effect?
Have fun!...and don't forget my invite!
