Disney Princess Tea Party

Beatrice Said:

Is there a chain owned by Disney for Princess parties?

We Answered:

I don't think Disney has their own chain for Princess parties, but I just went to a place yesterday that did nothing but princess parties for kids. They choose what princess they'd like to be, but it wasn't affiliated with Disney.

Salvador Said:

Are Disney Princesses too "immature" or "babyish" for 6 year olds, or are they just right?

We Answered:

Disney Princesses are definitely NOT immature or babyish for a six-year-old! Heck, my sister had a Tinkerbell-themed birthday party when she turned 12! Six is still really young; six-year-olds should be encouraged to be imaginative and engage in make-believe, not be forced to grow up already! I'm 26 and I think a princess tea party sounds like a total blasty blast!!

Julie Said:

Need help throwing a Disney Princess birthday party.?

We Answered:

I think being a Cinderella Princess is a GREAT idea. The decorations, invitations and activities you could do are endless but I found some doing a quick yahoo search here that would be PERFECT I would think!

What are some good father-son activities in Walt Disney World?

We Answered:

Hi there, hope my name doesn't give me away but I lovvvveee Disney and traveling there. Here are my suggestions along with links so you can do additional research on hours of operation, location and cost.

1) Miniature Golf - My husband and I tried this on our last trip in January 08. If you book with Disney or an approved travel agent you will receive a voucher good for 1 free round of mini golf for 1 person. There are 2 mini golf courses on WDW property and they are; Fantasia Gardens (across from the Swan and Dolphin) and Disney's Winter Summerland (across from Blizzard Beach). So both are accessible from Disney bus transportation. Also with the mini golf, if you wanted to play additional rounds of gold after your first, they are 50% off for each person! And each player also gets a collectors edition golf ball to take home with them. Both mini golfs spots have an eatery and refreshment stand. Here's the link;

2) How about some good old fashioned father and son fishing? You can rent a boat and head out on the waters, but that can be a little pricey or your can fish from the dock at Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans. Here's the link;

3) Tri-Circle Ranch & Farm can be found at Disney's Fort Wilderness and they have a horse for everyone and an excursion type for every kind of cowboy. They have regular horses or ponies as well as carriage and wagon rides. Or they can always both go horseback riding. The link;

4) Watersports - Numerous types of vehicles for rent for any level of skill or adventure. The link;

I hope that helps and below is the main other recreations page for WDW.

Have fun on your vacation!!!

I am looking for something to do with 2 sons, 10&6 at Disney World while girls at Princess tea party?

We Answered:

Here's an idea:

"Pirate Adventure - Children wear pirate bandannas and follow clues to search Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon for buried treasure. They sail to many exotic "ports of call" (Resort Marinas) to collect treasure. Children who are potty trained (no pull-ups) and ages 4-12 may attend. Lunch is provided (Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Gummy bears, Krispy Treat and Juice box).

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Available to all guests. Cost is $28.17 plus tax.
Reservations 180 days in advance at 407-WDW-DINE.

"We did this the last day and it was probably my boys' favorite activity. They get a pirate hat with Mickey ears, available no where else. They load up on a boat with a Jolly Roger flag and go around the lake looking for treasure. I'm not sure exactly what they do because parents don't get to go along. But they come back with a bag full of loot and grinning from ear to ear, saying all kinds of pirate lingo. That's when my boys decided we could just live at the Grand Floridian!" Carie Lackey, 6/03

"We made reservations yesterday and were told tennis shoes (sneakers) and socks were now required for the child." Jennifer, 10/8/03"

Alternatively you might like to rent a boat/water mouse/etc. See details here of lots of options: http://allearsnet.com/btp/dd_recr.htm
