I think you should wear it in ringlets if your hear is long if it is short you can flip it our and if you want you could twist your hear into a bun and you can also twist it into a claw

Alex Said:

Tea party? party ideas 14 year old URGENT HELP!?

We Answered:

wow sounds JUST like me (turning 14, uk, tea party bday, 10ish girls, tent sleepover!).

hmm. get loads of small tables and patterned or plain table cloths and put them over and arrange them in a straight line or curving and random.

use all sorts of chairs - arm chairs, head chars, dining room etc to look bizarre and cool.

make loads of eat me drink me labels and put them on loads of things with coloured ribbon (your favourite colours or a theme).

use loads of fancy cake stands. get loads of tea sets (borrow or oxfam etc), and plates. also get assorted tea pots.

set places with the cups and side pates and cutlery.

food: cold chicken, salad, pate, chutney, cold ham, potato salad, jelly, finger sandwiches (tuna mayo, cress, mango chutney and ham, philadelphia, marmite, jam etc). scones, strawberries and cream, trifle, cup cakes (decorate in icing - bite me, eat me).

a big cake for you, decorated with little roses and piping.

put this table under a big tree or two - buy a pack of giant playing cards and hang them from white thread from the tree, hanging over the table at different heights (looks SO cool). do the same with the eat me/drink me labels.

hang the tree about with white fairy lights and switch them on in the evening.

buy a croquet set (boules and badmnton are good as well). buy toy hedgehogs and put them around the croquet pitch. buy some plastic flamingos cheaply from a pound store.

make big cutouts of like the ace of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs in black and red and stick them in windows or generally around.

you could get a few props - mad hatters hat, march har/dormouse ears, crown, alice band etc and declare your guest each of them. or allocate them a person to dress up as.

eg the queen of hearts
the mad hatter
the march hare
the dormouse
alice (YOU be her if you dress up!)
the chesire cat
tweedle dum/dee
the frog/fsh footman

and so on. or you could be alice, if you have one make your younger brother/his friend the foot men/tweedle dum/dee, your mum the queen, your dad the mad hatter, an uncle the march hare, little siste the dormouse etc.

if you don't want them to dress up, instruct them to wear tea dresses and hats, gloves, fans, heels, pearls, the whole lot.

games: you could do a sort of mad caucus race with prizes (running round, maybe incorporate hide and seek), croquet and traditional games.

all this can be done very cheaply if you look in charity store for props, have most of the tings, cook yourselves or borrow them. whats your huge pressie?

good luck hunny, have fun! x x x
