Ideas for Girl Scout tea party?

We Answered:

There is a particular "try-it" (what Brownies call badges) called "Manners" or something along those lines. There are several activities that need to be completed in order to earn the try-it. Get a copy of the try-it book from your local GS council or library and plan a structured party that would included those activities. You should be able to do it in the 1 1/2 hour to 2 hour block you'd want your parties to last for. Brownies are 2nd and 3rd graders under the new organization. Daisies are K-1st graders and earn "petals" which are much more general. Take a look at a Daisy book (also at library or GS council) to see which petal would reflect the kinds of things you could do at your party store.

You need to research the types of foods from the different time periods that dolls would have lived in. Maybe do one appetizer for each doll. This will make it fun for each individual doll owner. Also just pick something easy don't make it to hard on yourself. Just have fun.
