You should put "I think Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are entertaining." under reasons you shouldn't join. If you want to join a political movement, please have some sense and don't base your opinion on whoever entertains you. Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin use hate speech and fear tactics in order to manipulate public opinion and, although not illegal, are not good role models for people who want to responsibly follow politics. Do more research and don't just join the bandwagon that is based on false promises and fear.

There are many who have not grown up, who have not been raised to take care of themselves and want a nanny state to do everything for them...they don't want to work, they don't want to contribute, they just want someone else to do it for them. People who are like that and don't believe in a God, are the cancer destroying this once great nation.

Just show up! And in the meantime learn everything you can about the issues, history, economics, and political theory. Getting involved is very rewarding!

Because is actually the other way around. Tea Partiers discriminate against blacks and other minorities as they believe themselves to be superior therefore it discourages minorities to join. After all would you join a party that considered you inferior. Most mentally sane people wouldn't.
