i would talk to him about it and see what he thinks. I know that by the time i was a teenager I was done with birthday parties and just wanted to go out to dinner with friends.

i think it depends on his age. a 12 year old turning 13 or 13 turning 14 yes, but beyond that I wouldnt. honestly kids that age want to have a party with guys and girls instead of a themed birthday party.

personally i think a bbq or pool party for a couple hours with no specific agenda would be best.

but talk to him. if he's all into it, go for it!

I would do thisat night and outside in your back yard or something.
hang up those white christmas light (to simulate faeries).
sprinkle glitter all over (pixie dust).
have a camp fire and tell stories just like red handed jill.
have fake swords for the lost boys to fight.
just play as though you were in either the book or movie =]

I have never heard of Alice in Wonderland curtains, but I think that would be too much, anyways. Just make the curtains match in color. As for the bedspread, they sell an Alice in Wonderland comforter at Hottopic along with the pillow cases. it's for a full/queen bed.

Why don't you add the song Clocks by Coldplay to your list of songs? Have pink yellow and orange cookies that say "Try Me", "Eat Me", etc. Have the finger foods (like chips) put into a top hat! Also have a drink (I can't remember it's color) that you can call Curiosity. Oh, and if you can, spread black and red playing cards, red roses, or mirrors around he room. Ofcoarse don't forget lots of tea cups and tea! For games I don't have any ideas. Pin the tail on the rabbit? Pin the hat on the hatter? And if you haven't seen the movie Alice (it was on the SyFy channel) then you should watch it
