You could have a caucus race, where everyone gets a (gag) prize, like in _Alice's Adventures in Wonderland._ You'd have to make it a version of musical chairs or something, though. Just make sure everyone gets a prize--when they get out.

Find a box or a big cardboard tube that people have to crawl through like Bill the lizard.

Do a version of Who Stole the Tarts? Only instead of having the tarts (cookies) right there for all to see, the tarts are hidden somewhere in the room. Someone is "it" and has to question witnesses to see where the tarts have been secreted.

Serve lobster soup. Everyone has to sing "Soup of the Evening, Beautiful Soup." Everyone has to come up with a pun about school too, like the ones in the book ("reeling" and "writing," etc.)

When it's time go, the dream is over. Since it's July you have go down to the bank of a river.
