People need to cool their jets a bit. Conservatives like me, understand that Palin is duty bound to support McCain since it was he who discovered her and brought her into the National Spotlight. I am all for Palin running because it is during the Primary process that we will get to separate the wheat from the Chaff. I like a lot of what she says in her book and she is certainly very attractive as a campaigner but I want to see and hear how she does in the preliminary bouts before I place my bet on her for the main event.

One thing the Republican Party is not going to be lacking is candidates. I want the best, brightest and most Conservative one to win. Don't know if that will be Palin or not. Years to go. Plenty can happen between now and then.

Public opinion will shift, pundits will have their say, articles will be written to attack, support and influence candidates. It is all part of the process.

Many presidents have been tempted to abuse the power of the office. However, it usually takes several years for the abuse to surface, and often it is not until the second term.

Problems like this, so early in the first term, is unsettling. Right or wrong, he needs to face his critics, including Fox News.

Oddly enough, MoveOn.org still had this Sept. 2007 ad up as of June 18.

But if you go to http://pol.moveon.org/keepmeposted/ now, it’s gone. They kept it there for almost 3 years before taking it down all of a sudden.

With Petraeus now part of the Obama administration, it's going to be fascinating watching all of the media members and outlets that supported MoveOn's ad now backtrack and gush over the General they once despised.

In a classic example of liberal hypocrisy, the far-left leaning, George Soros-funded group MoveOn.org has removed its controversial "General Betray Us" ad from its website.
