National Tea Party Movement

David Said:

How does the Tea Party movement effect local, state, and national elections?

We Answered:

Wow! Judging by the level of hate directed at the Tea Party by the left, I think that they're on to something. I guess that our group's VP and all of the African American, Hispanic and Jewish members and speakers are all just a bunch of racist nut jobs.
For the most part, the Tea Party is involved in almost every community in the nation, advocating for conservatives from the local school board level on up. When their supported candidates run for office, they usually run as a Republican or Democrat with a Tea Party prefix, not third party. However, most run as Republicans because few Democrats are Conservative (fiscally or otherwise). With the elections in VA, MA and NJ, the Tea Party did not have time to "groom" their own candidates, so they backed the most Conservative choice. Few can deny their effect on these races.
If you want to get down to the "nuts and bolts" of the Tea Party agenda, I would suggest taking a look at some of their web sites. While Nancy Pelosi calls them "astro turf", I think that you will find that they are a group of genuine, grass-roots, everyday Americans who love their country just the way it was created.

Edna Said:

Is the tea bagger movement splitting with Republican party over scandal?

We Answered:

The split was there before the leaked documents, but this is definitely going to drive a wedge into the split that's already there.

I said all along that the whole tea bag thing was started to motivate republican fund-raising in the first place . The plan has backfired I think.

If the Tea party manages to pull at the independents and moderates they could end up replacing the republican party.
