Are Republicans proposing a clear plan for paying off the national debt? They are proposing limiting spending but have shown they cannot be trusted.

Tea Party members are not professional politicians. They are private citizens that are fed up with out of control spending and an over reaching government. Of the three, they have the most rational policy: THE GOVERNMENT MUST STOP SPENDING MONEY IT DOESN'T HAVE.

You can't. You're doomed to having America's children be able to get vaccines, antibiotics and casts for broken bones. Yes, half of America's children live below the poverty line. Want to have a productive workforce in 20 years? Invest in our children!

Insuring those below the poverty level saves us money, because then they'll use much less expensive preventative visits to normal doctors, instead of visiting hospitals for emergency care. We're already paying for them because the costs get passed on to us. Otherwise hospitals would go bankrupt and close.


However, the "Obamacare" bill was much more than subsidies for the poor, it's main focus was cleaning up the insurance industry. The bill prohibits several unethical and mostly illegal business practices such as recisions, where when a person gets sick, the company contests coverage for bullshit reasons hoping to out-last the ill person. It didn't matter if they'd lose in court, so long as the patient died before the court date.

The bill does to much for the average American, and key provisions will go into effect before the November elections. Once they go into effect, you'll be slaughtered in elections if you try to repeal the bill.
