I don't think so, the Tea Party used to be about taxes and small government and now it's beginning to sound more and more like the Republican Party. If they wanted to be something fresh and new, they shouldn't have invited the Republican poster girl, Sarah Palin to be their keynote speaker at their recent convention. If this is the direction the Tea Party is taking, I don't see it going anywhere because it's not doing much to attract Independent voters.

Absolutely not!

Just think about it. There was no Tea Party at all just 20 months ago. Since then they have risen to a point where they won several Senate seats, dozens of House seats and drove the Republican Party back to fiscal responsibility.

If that is a failure then you are setting a pretty high bar in my opinion!
