There are some internal squabbles in the GOP, but once they get elected they all vote together. O'Donnell is a woman who will say anything to get elected, and some of the things she's said/done sound downright nutty. Rove really ought to be in jail for some of the things he did in the Bush admin. (Like his plan to use the Dept. of Justice to destroy the Democratic party through 'investigation' of fake voter fraud charges).

O'Donnell might not be the party leadership's first choice for Senator, but I think that's only because they don't see her as being electable. If she does get elected as a Tea Partier, you can bet she will vote with the Republicans on every issue. That's all they really want, that seat, that vote.

Yeah, I was watching the difference between the coverage of the "violent and inconsequential" teaparty participants and the "peace loving G-20 liberal protesters". (sarcasm). Fox did a lovely job of juxtaposing video of the actual protests on screen next to each other. The contrast in both numbers and in respect to their fellow human beings was stark

The Tea Party pointed out that the original Republican candidate was more of a "Democrat" than a republican. They looked at her record and saw that all of her votes were way more left than the Democrat who was running against her. The first Republican candidate dropped out of the race and endorsed the Democrat, showing her true colors. The Conservative Candidate, Doug Hoffman, entered the race late in the race and did really well for having no political backing and having the both the Dem's and the Repub's campaigning against him until the very end. When the Republican candidate withdrew from the election, her name was still on the ballot, She got 5% of the vote. The late comer, Hoffman, got 46% of the vote. So in reality, the Tea Party Candidate did quite well. Having no name recognition and no National Support. and entering the race late in the game.
