Political Tea Parties
Jimmy Said:
what do political tea parties do? or what is the motive behind their organization? We Answered:
They are raising awareness of how destructive our federal government is.Their motives are to remove the progressive/socialist/communist/liberals from power and elect conservatives
Barry Said:
Why was the tea party created and how did it gain so much political power? We Answered:
I believe Dick Armey, former 18 year congressman and founder of Freedom Works, was instrumental in the beginning of the Tea Party. The Tea Party caught on because many people believe the same thing. They want smaller government, less taxes, closer adherence to the Constitution. Freedom. Glenn Beck liked the idea and talked about it on his program with his 9-12 project that was mostly Tea Party people. The movement began while Bush was president with the TARP. So far, the Tea Party is made up of fiscal conservatives regardless of political affiliation. They are political activists trying to endorse people running for election who most represent their views. They are not a party. Most are Republicans and Independents but there are also Libertarians and Democrats.http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100804/ap_o…
They are not racists. More and more minorities are joining up with the Tea Party.
Maxine Said:
Do you think its about that the U S has 3 political parties & start the "Tea Party"?We Answered:
Three parties is a grave mistake. Other countries have more than two and it is nothing but a nightmare. It guarantees that a minority will rule the country. Look at the Clinton Presidency. He never got to 50% of the vote but split three ways, more people voted against him than for him but he still won. Right now the Democrats are forcing through a Government Health Care takeover and only 35% of Americans want them to. Split three ways, even if the Democrats have less than 50% they will still rule the day.No, if you are serious you need to take over the Republican party and force the fraudulent Republican RINOs out. Then you stand a real chance of refounding America.

Paula Said:
What is the Tea party political party made up of?We Answered:
Different political party's...fiscal conservatives. It's a movement, not a political party.
Greg Said:
What exactly is the Tea Parties political stand point? We Answered:
There is no one political stand point, as the Tea Party protestors are mainly concerned with the economic issues of taxation and spending. The Tea Party is a movement, not a political party. Hence you can have a very wide distribution of political philosophies that only agree on that one point. I am a Libertarian, and I attend the Tea Parties. However, many attendees are conservatives who I agree with economically but disagree with on social issues. Then there are "Blue Dog" democrats, also often seen at Tea Parties, who are at odds with both the conservatives and libertarians. Pretty much the only consistent political standpoint is that the government needs to spend less and tax less.Rene Said:
Seniors, are you aware of the political tea parties being held today? We Answered:
I went to one in our small town and it was very orderly and they are only protesting higher taxes and more government, There are nothing wrong with people having them and we are not right wing extremist, Why is it o.k. for every one else to express their opinion and when do we get labeled
