Princess Tea Party

Marjorie Said:

I am having a princess tea party... food suggestions?

We Answered:

Fairy Bread

i think its an australian thing but at kids party's over here we serve Fairy Bread and the little ones love it!!!

Fairy Bread is just buttered sliced bread topped with hundreds and thousand's sprinkles. If you want to make it a little more fancy you can cut the bread in to shapes with a cookie cutter.

fairy Bread, is bright, colourfull and sugary... perfect for kids party's!

What are some good games to play at a princess tea party for little girls?

We Answered:

I have seen this board game where you go through and earn pretty stuff to dress up in. Like clip on earrings and boas...If you can't find one maybe you could make up something like that. Maybe a scavenger hunt where they collect clues to find these pretty princess items. Oh and I have seen these cool cookies that have a princess image on them and they come with edible icing markers. So they could decorate their own treats for the tea party. I saw those on the Food Network. Maybe a game where they can name the most princesses in the shortest time or act out their favorite princesses... it all sounds fun to me.

Princess Tea Party I Need Help?

You didn't say what you're using for serving pieces...is it real china? Do they have color on them? If so, pick a color from that so it helps the serving pieces to stand out...and then get some lace material in the color you choose to set the table with.

Make little sandwiches from cookie cutter shapes (a star for a Princess?) along with your other special treats. Decorate with small floral bouquets with ribbons....tie chairs with ribbons on them. Send each girl home with a bouquet (and a Magic Wand?) Based on the age group--I'd go with pink (and the other color will depend on the serving pieces..but any of those pink choices are good).

You can get edible sparkles for toppings to cookies for some glitz.

Not sure...but do they have balloons at this kind of party? I would do a clump and have them weighted down by child's pair of princess shoes over food table as centerpiece.

(this is a cute theme...I bet the girls will love it)

Does anyone know how much income could be made in opening a little girls princess/tea party venue?

We Answered:

I have a friend that does a similar thing. I live in the UK, but this does not make a difference.

She makes about US$ 70.000 a year. However she does supply more than costumes.

She has a bouncy castle, disco music. and other items that they can play with, like a ball pen. (Plastic balls in a pit) Also she has disco lights. She also has a person that does face painting.

Basically anything you can think of to keep the little darlings occupied. *Smile*

She says its fun, but hard work. You have to be good at crowd control.

You also need to take out personal liability insurance. No matter how good you are, accidents will happen. You also need to have a first aid kit, and disposable gloves, to treat cuts etc.

The best way to advertise this new venture would be your local schools, (they have lots of children.)

Any way good luck with your venture.
