Yes, but there are even more being planned for the 4th of July, as well as Memorial Day, and in California they have a bunch scheduled for Armed Forces Day in May... it isn't over, and it is growing.

Ideally the tea parties will be a place where people can meet other people and form their own groups in addition and as alternatives to the more organized efforts. It is good to march in formation from time to time, but much can be accomplished by surprise!

Well I don't believe there was any violence because I know cnn, msnbc along with others would be quick to point it out and call everyone attending "extremists". All I know is that cnn didn't like these "tea parties" very much! This cnn reporter asks someone at the protest a question, and when she doesn't hear what she wants she completely blow the guy off not even letting him answer!

This lady is a complete nut, and made both cnn and herself look stupid. I love when she cuts him off and someone yells "let him finish" and then she tries to make it seem much more hostile than it was. I think she is closer to an "extremist" than the protesters! I laugh at that video every time :)

Smear merchant Geraldo Rivera bashed the Tea Party movement because he’s “never seen any people of color” at the protests — a line of attack being plied on left-wing blogs. Tea Party organizer and Top Conservatives on Twitter Michael P. Leahy politely laid the smack down on Geraldo.
