I don't watch either station usually because they are so lame.

My husband & I are going. We told my sister-in-law (another town) and I sent her a link with info.

I'm bringing my camera. The Tea Party has been on the calendar since it was first announced.

We are "mad as hell and we aren't going to take it anymore."

Yes I went to the one in Nashville at noon today- I am going to another tonight at 6:00 PM in my hometown. It was awesome!

I agree with you. When we see giant spending bills pushed through, without the Congress even having time to read them, we are offended and horrified. When we hear that Obama is cutting defense spending, while throwing billions of dollars in the direction of groups like ACORN, we are offended and horrified. When we watch the guy who campaigned on ending earmarks, sign a bill into law that has 8,500 of them, we are offended and horrified. When we watch the guy break campaign promise after campaign promise, and not held to account by the media, we are offended and horrified.
We have all been enduring one outrage after another, for the past several months, and frankly many Americans feel compelled to do something…anything before we wake up one morning and no longer recognize our country. o_O

As I have said since I served my time in the Army "I may disagree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it". My problem with the "Tea Parties was two fold 1) Fox bought and paid for the whole thing and will probably do so again on Memorial Day and July 4. 2) According to 19 out of every 20 interviewed(even by Fox) it was not about taxes but about how because the Republicans lost power the country was being driven into the ground by the Democrats and Obama.

If it had truly been a protest of the tax burden it would have been pointless because no-one pays the same high tax rate as when we were under Reagan. If they were protesting the tax increases they claim will have to be made on their children, why did they not protest against Bush and the Republicans for starting the Bailout and failing to set any rules or guidelines?

The "Tea Parties" were hypocrisy at it's worst. Even the smart Republicans avoided being linked to them.

Take your pick! ALL SPENDING! Geeze, the sh*t that Congress just passed is wasteful and won't help the economy. Tax cuts will help, not government spending.

You can't spend you way out of a recession!

What about the millions for pig smell research, a dog park, & tattoo removal? How is that suppose to help the economy?
