little girls have tea parties, while real men vote for the democrats because they know that getting quick?

We Answered:

Put me in the "little girl" column.

Ida Said:

Can you help me think of a name for a tea party business?

We Answered:

Tea House / Tea Room of Dreams

Floyd Said:

What am I supposed to do at a ltlle girls tea party? Besides have tea..?

We Answered:

Its fun to have the girls bring their favorite doll, and feed them tea. You could have a photo shoot, and the girls can pretend to be models... That'll be a really fun tea party, I'm sure they'll have fun with the idea of dressing up and drinking tea all together.

Rosemary Said:

is there a type of party for boys like tea parties for girls?

We Answered:

Probably a Mad Hatter theme....everything off-kilter....different size chairs, mismatched cups/saucers...that would be the fun way to do it! Decorate with clocks , have invites say "Don't be late for a very important date!" Cheshire cat grins...funny card tricks...trick candles that don't blow out or play musical tunes.

Jeff Said:

Any ideas for a little girls tea party?

We Answered:

I helped a friend with a Princess tea party recently and the biggest hit was when the kids made marzipan mice.

She got the recipe here
http://skandland.com/xmmarzipan.htm
Bought the marzipan at the bulk food store and kept it the plain color to save time but it looks great mixed with food color too. The page shows christmas marzipan, but you can shape it into anything. Just make sure to wash hands well before the girls start making their edible creations :)

A really great site for kid friendly recipes is at the San Diego Zoo website: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/kids/recipes.…

I've tried a bunch of them with my son and they're easy and very good.

Here's an example:
Ingredients
1 large banana

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon peanut butter–creamy is the easiest to spread

Crackers–your favorites

Peel the banana and put it in a small bowl. Add the honey and peanut butter and, using the back side of a spoon, mash the ingredients together until they make a creamy soup. Serve with crackers for dipping!

If you theme, the zoo is a great idea since princess has been done so much recently. If you use the zoo recipes, the girls can bring their fave stuffed animal. Animal decorations are easy to find at either the party or dollar store.
If you provide instant cameras, the girls can go on a photo safari... the pictures the kids take are always more "real" than any others :)

Question about a tea party for little girls?

We Answered:

That's so cute! I love throwing parties for little kids..they're so cute! Hmm....if you are thinking about having some sort of punch, why not go with a classic? You can make the simple ginger-ale-and-sherbet one if you want...guaranteed success! Also, apple juice works well, especially since it looks somewhat like tea. As for food, why not little finger sandwiches? Try kid-pleasers such as PB&J, but cut them into fancy little shapes. In addition, you can never go wrong with cookies. Bake up a few batches of their favorite tasty flavors and create a little platter to mix and match. Have the girls wear fancy party dresses, use tea cups (plastic ones are great for the really little ones), and treat them like their princesses. Trust me, my mom has done this before and we still have pictures of all of our friends dressed up in frilly pink dresses and white gloves sipping "tea". Good luck with the party; I'm sure the girls will have TONS of fun!

I am wanting to have a little girls Tea Party. Any CHEAP suggestions?

We Answered:

Go to Dollar Tree or another Dollar Store. You can usually get cute dress up boa's and pearls for cheap. You can use that stuff to decorate the table and then send home as party favors. Get cheap cookies and take them out of the package and put them on doilies at each child's place instead of using plates. Not sure where you can find tea cups, but i am sure there are cheap ones out there. Try Oriental Trading. They have a website. Use a pink lemonade or koolaid for the "tea" cause most little girls will drink it. Have the party outside in a garden type area. Ask the little girls to wear dress up clothes and teach them how to hold their pinkies' in the air while they drink. Take lots of pictures and send a picture with a thank you card to each child that attended.

Discuss It!
