appetizer: crackers with cheese, baby carrots/small vegetables with ranch dressing.

main course: sushi candy(there's a lot of different recipes, look them up), small finger foods (sandwiches), pigs in a blanket.

desert: miniature cupcakes, cakes, and cookies.

beverage: iced tea, actual tea with honey and sugar or cranberry juice

Kids love activities, you are right about this. If you want really great favors, try the oriental trading company, great variety and even better prices. Build-a-bear parties are great, but can be spendy. You could make masks out of paper plates, felt, paint, buttons, whatever? Then the kids can play make believe for a good while. Also, you could make personal pizzas with english muffins, let the kids put whatever they want on them buffet style.

You'd want an herbal tea, so they didn't have the caffeine. You might try a Peach or Raspberry tea - but you could also get packages of Instant Apple Cider and use those instead. I think the kids would prefer the hot apple cider to tea
