Ricky Said:

why are tea party backed candidates kicking butt nation wide and striking fear in the hearts of s0cialists?

Adam Said:

In the Next Election Should Tea Party Backed Candidates Run Against Sitting Establishment Republicans?

We Answered:

Absolutely!

Primary elections are for exactly that - setting policy.

The people are stupid for not kicking bad lawmakers out. If a rep. won't make government smaller, decrease taxes, less intrusive and decrease spending, he should be in the unemployment line with the rest of the people he put there.

But the process needs to start at the beginning, public schools need to be "de-liberalized." School boards need to be changed. State government needs to be changed.

It's a daunting task but unless it's done, the 0bama era will just be a skid mark in the jockey shorts of American history.

About the tea party, I believe it's a renaissance of the Republican party.

Dwayne Said:

Tea Party: If the Dems hold onto the Senate because they were up against weak Tea Party-backed candidates?

We Answered:

Populist parties come and go, and generally they are better at making a lot of noise than they are at governing. Even if Tea Party candidates do well today, in the grand scheme of things I suspect they will be just a blip on the political map.

TARP may have been unpopular, but the truth is it did its job: it prevented a recession from turning into another great depression. If we had allowed Wall St to implode at the end of '08 we'd all be in bread lines now. And of the $700B authorized, only about half of that was spent, and most of that has already been paid back.

The health care bill was unpopular, but where were all the complaints when the Bush admin pushed through the Medicare Part D expansion? That was a huge giveaway to the drug companies. At least the Obama bill put limits on what health insurance companies can get away with, thereby limiting costs. And what would the Tea Partiers suggest we do about health care reform? Medical costs in the US continue to increase faster than inflation, and the US spends more on healthcare than any other nation and only gets mediocre results. The Obama bill might not be perfect, but would you prefer our politicians ignore this problem rather than do something about it? http://structuralevolution.org/blog/cate…

Sam Said:

Is Marco Rubio the only Tea Party backed candidate who's not a longshot in November?

We Answered:

Yes,

I still don't trust the polls. But it looks like he will win.

Mary Said:

Will the Tea Party backed candidate Brown get elected over a Democrat is Mass?

We Answered:

No freakin chance. He will lose by about 20 points. Mass. will never let that seat go to a tea party backed candidate and if they do, they deserve what they get.

Discuss It!
