I think that's really good! You know where the story is going, and it sounds like a great story. I like how the main character is a vampire, unlike most vampire books where it's a human. I really liked it! :)

My daughter went to a tea party last year. It was so cute! When we got there the girls grandmother was outside. She had papercups, dirt and plants. Each child got to plant their own plant to take home, then plant in their garden. All the kids liked doing it and it was an ice breaker. When they were done they went inside, there were things for them to dress up(it was a girls only party) they made neclaces, beads and string. put on fun hats, there was some makup for them to put on(not thrilled about that but they had fun)
After they planted their plants you could say...good job!!! would you like to color. Send them to the table to color. When everyone is done do the cookie! Kids love cookies! At that point everyone should be comfy and having a great time.
Honestly, the movie may not workout so well. The boys may not sit for a girly movie, so if you have a place for them to run and play a few games...that may work out better. A tea pot piniata may be fun. I always have a pinata instead of goodie bags.(to save money) I put some candy and toys(things I would put in goodie bags) in the pinata. Give the kids each a bag. I write..."Mary's Goodie Bag" on the bag. So they know its thier goodie bag (: Takes up time and the kids have fun. Whistles and punching balloons...are big hits!

for you daughter...let her pick out the plants, if you choose to do that, have her help you help the kids with the planting, that may make her more comfortable...and fell important.

You could teach them the teapot song. Then do musical chairs to that song! When they are out ): they could sing along with the song, or go color...have some watercolor paint also so they can choose.

have the movie on if thats your plan but, have some things planned just incase the kids aren't into sitting and watching the movie.
