Great points you've made! I'm hoping our Democrats make use of their newfound backbone that has been getting things DONE in Washington and just absolutely SWEEP the November elections! I'd like to see a gain of at least 12 new seats in Congress and at least 4 or more in the Senate---a CLEAR MAJORITY so that these GOP filibusters of unemployment insurance for American workers and banking reforms; apologies to a corrupt and greedy British Petroleum because our President made them pay UP FRONT for the damages they'd caused; and blockage of consumer-protecting legislations that are long overdue come to an abrupt and timely END.

"The Rachel Maddow Show" on MSNBC tonight showed some of the downright FOOLISH stuff these teabagging evangelicals and desperate right-wing Republicans are trying to foist upon the American people...like actually disputing Einstein's theory of relativity because they think it interferes with giving a literal interpretation of the bible...lol. I'm having trouble believing that nutjob extremist Rand Paul is getting any credibility at all. What is ironic in this is that Faux, Heritage Foundation, the DC right-wing cult The Family (Sharlet, 2008), and the GOP cooked up the whole faked "Tea Potty" movement over the summer last year as a protection---scripting their GOP staffers (used at first) to deliberately disrupt Democrats' town hall meetings after being bused in so that insurance reforms would FAIL, but staying "separate" from this fake-grassroots (astroturf) effort to block health care just in case their constituents back home in their respective districts actually WANTED what the lobbyists were paying them to BLOCK---they then would not be blamed if the blockage was done by "that other party"...and now their lab monster has turned around in the primaries and BITTEN THEM IN THE PROVERBIAL REAR END! [Picture a guffawing laffy face.]
