Tea Party Crafts

Marilyn Said:

Planing a rose-theme tea party?

We Answered:

Get some inexpensive straw hats (the big floppy kind - maybe check at the $1 store) and some silk roses. Let each guest decorate their own hat when they get there. Have a hot glue gun available. If for kids, have them place the roses on the hat and an adult can hot glue on for them. They can then wear it at the party.

Decorate with beautiful roses as a centerpiece.

Make tissue paper flowers.

Serve Petite fours with little rosebuds (out of icing - done by the bakery) on them.

Good luck!

We Answered:

spinning, weaving, crochet, knitting, embroidery, tatting, applique and patchwork for quilts, wet felting, soap making, candle making

to me the list is endless! Girls in that era were taught all of the above at the ages your group is!

Yolanda Said:

Is the tea party a terrorist movement?

We Answered:

No. I don't think so.

Confused and ignorant people without a leader don't usually constitute a terrorist movement.

Joe Stack was just a nut who spent too many years trying to evade paying his income taxes.
