I think that 7 is the perfect age to start sleepovers, most kids want to start at that age. However, some of their friends might not be ready to spend the night away from home, you should provide the option of a "half sleepover", so if any girls don't want to stay the whole night, they can stay until the party activities would be over and go home at around 10pm (or whatever the set bedtime/quiet time would be).
