Another craft is to take fake flowers, flower tape, and ball point pens - have them make their own flower pen.
You mentioned you will be reading stories. One thing to make a story more fun is to have them do something silly every time a certain word is mentioned. Like they would have to stand up or sit down every time you said "princess" (or whatever fits the story).
