What do you think of the teqeila party?

We Answered:

I'm not too familiar with this "new" party, I just recently heard of them. But, based on what I've read so far, it seems like all talk. I also don't like it. I have a pet-peeve when it comes to using the word "Latino" as if it somehow encompasses the ideals of ALL Latinos. Yet, it doesn't. I really don't see it necessary for Latino leaders in Nevada to create a new party, we have enough of those. It seems to prioritize the "needs" of some Latino groups over the rest of the Nevada populace.
I actually disagree with you in regards to leaving the comments open. By far, they are more bigoted comments then are sane ones, so I'm glad the OP decided to have the comments closed. Earlier in the day they had an article that discussed the surge of unique names among children. The comments were horrible, they just attacked Black Americans and made so many stereotypes, really uncalled for.
Rather than make a new party, Latino Americans who feel aloof, should remain as an independent voter. Normally I don't have problems with groups making race based or ethnic based groups, be it German-American coalition or Caribbean something group, but this seems so out there, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
About that video, those individuals are from a group known as the "Brown Berets". If I'm not mistaken this group is like the Mexican-American version of Black militant groups, it started during the 1960s.
See here for more information.

I think, they're "fighting the good fight", at least in their mind, they are. It kind of seems to me like they are remnants of the civil rights movements.
I don't like the idea of a Mexican-American party, we really don't need to separate ourselves like this.
If it were something minor, then I wouldn't care, but at this scale, it's a no, no, for me.

Tea People: What would you think about a powdered wig policy for Tea Party events?

We Answered:

Being so far to the left, it is easy to see why you view anything Conservative as being Ancient History. You just keep thinking that way and you will do very well in school. The shocker to you will be when you hit the real world. Especially with that haircut.

I noticed an odd comment on here, is this part of the problem?

We Answered:

People often vote for a candidate simply because it's the popular thing to do. "Everyone I know is voting for him. Everybody can't be wrong!"

People running for president also flip-flop and change their minds on things, and lie about what they'll do in the future. People vote for them thinking that they'll bring about change, but they never do. A bunch of false promises. Maybe she, along with many other people, was under the impression that Obama was "the right one to vote for" only to be disappointed later?
