Ever since Obama's stimulus plan in 2009, some people who are epitomized by figures such as Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin got together to establish a third party that favors laissez-faire capitalism and the free market. They're different than most republicans because they believe the state's power of corporations as well as the UN and the EPA should be eradicated. It's all a movement to "bring the Founding Fathers and the Constitution back into our government."

MSNBC simply wants to make it look more "extreme" since they are all East Coast-ban the weapons Manhattenites. The same reason they think the earth's air is polluted: because THEIRS IS! The weapon in question is apparently an AR-15 type semi-automatic weapon which is perfectly LEGAL TO CARRY IN ARIZONA (where the rally was located) since they have an OPEN CARRY LAW; it's called "constitutional rights". And these are not limited by what "color" they are... Much to MSNBC's chagrin since their whole purpose is to "color" (pun intended) the TEA party as racist, gun-toting extremists who are dangerous so that the weak minded that believe the LIE will be scared to VOTE DEMOCRAT this fall.

I'm against farm subsidies and all corporate subsidies. The issue of farm subsidies is not on most people's radars as far as important issues go though. So if say someone were to criticize the tea party groups for not mentioning farm subsidies I believe that would be pretty lame.
