Actually I think that 18% is pretty pathetic.

The tea party has been all over the news. They've had a ton of publicity. If they really had a message most Americans could get behind, it would be way higher than 18%.

That 18% of supporters just shows how extreme the tea party really is, and that 82% of America does NOT support them.

No need to "smear" the tea party, as they are pretty much irrelevant.

14th Amendment and "anchor babies".
Deficit reduction and keeping the tax cuts for the rich.

I get most of my information from fox and msnbc news. I also actually looked up the movement on wiki. Why is there rampant misinformation? Because all these news networks are biased and have either a right wing or left wing agenda. TBQFH
