Senator Ron Paul is not suitable to be elected president because of his extremist (Libertarian) views on most social issues, but he is a very decent man who is not wrong about the Federal Reserve, and I suggested to President Obama on the whitehouse.gov line that Ron Paul should perhaps be asked to provide oversight to the Federal Reserve and be involved in regulatory reforms. My brother David is a Ron Paul fan, but President Obama is much better suited to the needs of this very wounded nation. As to the teabagging evangelicals (lol), they are Faux News created and corporate funded (i.e., Koch Family oil barons, the National Petroleum Institute/NPI, insurance lobbyists, and pharmaceuticals via Dick Armey's FreedomWorks and Tim Phillips's Americans for Prosperity right-wing front companies). If I were Ron Paul's advisor, I would suggest choosing another (more dignified and meaningful) name for his movement.

I think the letter was in extremely poor taste. And this person does not speak for me, although there is a point in his diatribe somewhere.

But the Tea Party Federation is some kind of dummy organization that no one has heard of.

I think the Tea Party Express should kick the Federation out of the Express! I don't believe the Express was part of the Federation in the first place.

But all this obscures the issue, which is high taxes and overgrown government.

Again, I think the Federation is some kind of front group formed to stir up trouble, Alinsky-style.

The Chinese government didn't shoot everyone on the first day of the protests. Who is to say Obama won't eventually do that? We know that many on the left admire the Chinese communists.

The Koch Brothers established Citizens for a Sound Economy in 1984, CSE split in 2004 and formed FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity so yeah the Koch brothers founded the Tea Party
